Macau's GGR for the first 18 days of January reached MOP12.95 billion, implying last week's average daily GGR at approx. MOP700 million, about 1% higher than the average daily GGR for the week of 5 January 5, representing a growth of about 19% from the average daily GGR in January 2025, Citi Research issued a research report saying. The resilience in average daily GGR aligns with the broker's field survey results, indicating that affluent Chinese consumers continued to show a willingness to spend on both gaming and non-gaming offerings in Macau. Citi Research maintained its GGR forecast for January 2026 at MOP21.5 billion, representing an 18% YoY growth.
