CIMC ENRIC (03899.HK) announced a placement of up to 79.7 million new shares (around 3.77% of the enlarged share capital) at a price of HKD9.79 per share, a discount of about 7.73% to yesterday's (19th) closing price of HKD10.61. The placement is expected to raise net proceeds of around HKD774 million, with about 50% for capital expenditure in the clean energy business and about 50% for general business operations.
