ICBC Plans to Redeem USD2.9B Offshore Preference Shares

ICBC (01398.HK) announced the plan of the full redemption of the US$2.9 billion USD Offshore Preference Shares issued by the Bank in the offshore market on 23 September 2020, and the Bank received a reply letter from the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA), pursuant to which, no objections were raised by the NFRA.

Upon redemption of the aforementioned USD Offshore Preference Shares, the Bank will no longer have any such shares in issue in the offshore market.
