Hedge fund manager David Tepper's Appaloosa Management increased its stake in the beleaguered UnitedHealth Group (UNH.US) during 2Q25, meanwhile reducing its holdings in China concept stocks.

Last quarter, Appaloosa significantly reduced its stake in China concept stocks, decreasing its stake in Alibaba Group (BABA.US) by over 20% to 7.1 million shares, valued at approx. US$802 million, although it remained the fund's largest shareholding. It also reduced its holdings in JD.com (JD.US)/ Baidu (BIDU.US)/ PDD Holdings (PDD.US) by 13%/ 19%/ over 50%.
