TENCENT (00700.HK)(TCEHY.US) has made remarkable progress in the construction of its headquarters campus in Shenzhen, with 30% of the planned area completed. The trial operation is slated to begin in October. Supporting facilities such as Penguin Apartments are expected to be gradually put into use in the second half of the year. Once fully operational, the campus can accommodate over 80,000 employees, and public areas will be open to the public. The campus, which commenced construction in 2021, covers an area of 809,000 square meters and has a total construction area of over 3 million square meters.
