National Bureau of Statistics' Service Industry Survey Center and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released data on China's non-manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) performance.

In March, the non-manufacturing business activity index came in at 50.8, up 0.4 ppts from the previous month and above the market expectation of 50.6, indicating an accelerated pace of expansion in the non-manufacturing sector.
