The Shenzhen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau recently issued the "Notice on the Use of Apartment-Style Residences as Affordable Rental Housing for Social Entities". This notice will be effective from September 30, 2024 for a period of two years. According to the notice, existing apartment-style residences used as socially affordable rental housing must be completed and in use, with a property purpose including being business apartments or apartments.
